About Elanit Kayne Linder, LCSW

Elanit Linder, LCSW is a graduate of Columbia University with a Bachelors of Fine Art from Tisch at New York University. Elanit is currently the Vice Chair of the Advisory Council at the Agency on Aging of South Central Connecticut and the Director of Aging Adult Services at JFS of Greater New Haven. She is an intuitive somatic healer whose work is grounded in group therapies, geriatric care, programming and services, and 1-to-1 therapies encompassing motivational interviewing, EMDR, somatic, cognitive behavioral and exposure therapies. Elanit has achieved wide acclaim for her books The Bucket and The Stone & Stitches for Seniors both available on Amazon. Her books have been top-sellers in the self-help genre and she has been referred to as a bestseller by numerous publications. Her writing has inspired countless readers to take control of their lives and find joy in their everyday existence. Elanit’s first career in large-scale social justice public projects resulted in selling everything she owned for the value in the context of other people’s lives in a project titled All I Want For Christmas is Nothing and brought a minimalist clothing line which highlighted the (i)ndividuality of people titled Wear Me Out to name two. Elanit’s life and job experience includes skilled nursing as a Clinical Community Liaison, Senior Living Memory Care Director and Director of Recreation for older adults. Her work has been covered nationally and internationally including full features on CNN, in the NY Post and Italian Glamour among others.
